Cookie Policy
How PrimeStaycations uses cookie technologies to improve performance, security, and transparency.
Prime Staycations uses cookies and related browser storage technologies to run core platform functions, secure accounts, and understand service performance.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small data files stored by your browser. We also use similar technologies such as localStorage and sessionStorage for session continuity, preferences, and product analytics.
2. Technologies we use
- Essential authentication cookies, including `ps_access_token` and `ps_refresh_token`, to keep users signed in and to secure account sessions.
- Preference cookie `prime-current-mode` to remember whether the interface is in guest or host mode.
- Browser storage keys for analytics and session diagnostics (for example anonymous/session identifiers and event queue buffers).
- Feature-level storage used for settings and UX continuity, such as saved profile/avatar state, onboarding drafts, and recent/saved listing references.
3. How we use them
- Security and authentication, including account session management and logout controls.
- Core platform functionality such as booking, messaging, host tools, and settings continuity.
- Performance and product analytics to improve reliability, detect abuse patterns, and optimize UX.
- Operational troubleshooting for payment, verification, and support workflows.
Prime Staycations does not currently use advertising cookies for third-party ad targeting in the core product experience.
4. Managing cookies and storage
You can manage cookies through browser controls, including deleting stored data and blocking future cookie writes. You can also clear local and session storage from your browser settings.
Blocking essential cookies may prevent login, booking, or other platform features from working correctly.
5. Policy updates
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect product, security, or legal changes. Any updates are posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
